Come and be immersed in the healing, sounds of the Gongs as you sleep and drift away on the gentle sounds, snuggled in the comfort of your cosy nests. A profound and restorative experience as the Gongs sound continuously through the night, played by experienced Gong players.

Set within 100 acres of rolling Sussex countryside, your booking includes access on the Sunday morning to the beautiful gardens where you can land, rest and reflect in this special place before leaving. A low EMF environment is also in tune with Claire’s ethos.

We provide teas and nibbles throughout the night and a light breakfast on Sunday morning.

The gong puja was envisioned by Don Conreaux, one of the original teachers of the way of the gong. He created this ceremonial & powerful opportunity for energetic realignment when immersed overnight in the Gong Sounds.

Sound Healing Experience

What to Expect:

A full afternoon retreat :-Imagine stepping into a serene space where time slows, and a sense of calm begins to gently unfold.

Sound Healing Experience

Treat yourself to a full afternoon retreat :- Imagine stepping into a serene space where time slows, and a sense of calm begins to gently unfold.

We start gently.

A chance to arrive, to settle, perhaps to notice your breath… without needing to change it.

From there, you’ll be guided into a simple, grounding experience with the drum—not to take you anywhere, but to support a soft transition out of the constant doing and into something a little more spacious.

As the afternoon unfolds, you’ll be resting with the subtle sounds of Gongs, crystal bowls, and other instruments.

There’s nothing you need to do during this time.

Some people notice their body beginning to soften. Others become aware of how busy the mind has been and sometimes, there’s simply a sense of pausing in a way that doesn’t often happen.

Whatever your experience, it’s enough.

The sounds and vibrations can be received in your own way.

You might find yourself becoming more aware of your body, or noticing moments of quiet between thoughts,  or simply resting more deeply than usual.

There’s no right way for this to be.

This is not about reaching a particular state, or trying to create an outcome.

It’s simply an opportunity to spend time in a space where things can settle, in their own way.

We’ll gently come back together with refreshments, and, if it feels natural, the option to share space and conversation with others.

The retreat takes place within the beautiful surroundings of the Grade II listed gardens at Sedgwick Park—offering a quiet backdrop to the afternoon and an opportunity to explore before you return home if desired.

You don’t need to know what you’re looking for.

Sometimes it’s enough to recognise that a different kind of space might be welcome.

Sound Healing Experience

Now booking for – Sunday 30th November 1pm-4.30pm

What to Expect:

A Full Afternoon Retreat

In the heart of the Christmas season, as we draw close to the Winter Solstice—a moment of stillness, reflection, and gentle returning to the light—we gather at the beautiful Sedgwick Park House. As you enter, the glow of the Christmas tree and the warmth of the log fires offer an immediate sense of welcome and calm. The wooden-panelled room, with its quiet elegance and natural warmth, creates the perfect sanctuary for rest and renewal.

Weather permitting, we begin with a gentle wander through the peaceful gardens, allowing the soft winter light and seasonal stillness to help you arrive and settle into yourself.

We open the retreat with a grounding drumming session, using steady rhythmic beats to anchor you, connect you, and prepare you for deeper rest during this introspective time of year.

You are then invited to relax fully into a restorative sound bath. The soothing tones of crystal bowls, gongs, and sacred instruments create a cocoon of calm where tension melts away, the mind quietens, and your inner rhythm of balance and wellbeing can gently return. In this season of turning inward, the sound vibrations support renewal, clarity, and a sense of spaciousness within.

This retreat is your gift to yourself—a pause in the festive busyness, a moment to restore, and a chance to reconnect with your centre as the year draws to a close.

We finish with light refreshments and time to share, rest by the fire, or simply continue enjoying the beauty and peace of Sedgwick Park House and its Grade II Harold Peto gardens.
